Brief Bio
Irina Makarova is head of the Service of Transport Systems department, Dr. habil. of Engineering, and has ten-year experience of directorship at automotive college. She was engaged in the development and implementation of projects in the field of engineering education and prepared series of courses in the sphere of system analysis, systems modeling, information technologies and automakers’ logistic processes management. Her research interests are: applied research on automaker’s logistics, service of transport systems, intelligent transport systems and engineering education.

Brief Bio
Prof. Maria Drakaki is Associate Professor in the Department of Science and Technology, University Center of International Programmes of Studies, at the International Hellenic University. She received her Ph. D degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Physics Department. She received an M. Sc. degree from the University of Westminster in VLSI System Design. She is a Fulbright scholar. She is the author of more than 60 research publications. Scientific interests of Prof. Drakaki are intelligent manufacturing systems, decision support systems, supply chain management, multi-agent systems, Colored Petri Nets, humanitarian logistics. Prof. Drakaki is the Director of the master degree programme in Energy and Finance, at the University Center for International Programmes of Studies of the International Hellenic University.

Dr. Polina Buyvol is PhD, Associate professor of the "Service of Transport Systems" Department of Kazan Federal University. She received her Ph. D degree from the Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University. Dr. Polina Buyvol is the author of more than 100 publications, including 24 indexed in Scopus, 23 indexed in WoS. Scientific interests: applied research on automaker’s logistics and service, intelligent transport systems and engineering education.

Brief Bio
Vadim Mavrin is Associate Professor of the "Service of Transport Systems" Department of Kazan Federal University. He received his Ph. D degree from the Orel State Technical University. Dr. Vadim Mavrin's scientific interests are: ecology, intelligent transport systems and simulation modeling.

SCOPE

Transport is an essential part of the industrial and social infrastructure, and its sustainability and effective functioning is a necessary condition for the economy development, ensuring national safety and raising the population living standards. The sustainable development of the transport system is guaranteed by both technical and organizational and technological measures. Therefore, increasing the reliability and environmental friendliness of increasingly sophisticated vehicles is becoming an important issue. The current trends in the industry cannot be fully implemented without changing the transport and logistics systems all over the world. In addition, in the age of rapid development of technology, digitalization and intellectualization of processes, it is necessary to introduce new managerial methods and smart mobility.
