The VEHITS Industrial Track is aimed to complemented the main conference with a dedicated area for practitioners and academics who are interested in transforming research results into practice.
The Industrial Track main goal is to bring together researchers and practitioners in order to discuss experiences and evaluate results towards a broader understanding of upcoming needs in the area of Vehicle Technology and Intelligent Transport Systems.
The Industrial Track is also an excellent vehicle for companies to advertise and promote their
innovative products and services, connect with other companies and engage in discussions about research and development initiatives.
This event is held in parallel with a set of related conferences, namely VEHITS, COMPLEXIS, IoTBDS, CLOSER and SMARTGREENS, attracting more than 800 researchers from more than 60 countries in all continents, creating opportunities for knowledge and technology sharing, and facilitating future collaboration networks involving industrial project partners and interested conference delegates.

Brief Bio
Mr. Joe Gibbs is the Business Development Manager for Lero, the Irish Software Research Centre with responsibility for management of Industry Collaborative Research relationships. Mr. Gibbs has over 30 years industry experience prior to joining Lero, 15 years of which was at senior level in multinationals and SME's in Automotive R&D in the development of both after-market Diagnostic Equipment, and Vehicle Components for OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers. He has a strong professional interest in Vehicle Telematics and in Automated Vehicles and is involved in a number of research initiatives in this area.
